There’s a very clear point of view behind your brand. Where does it come from?

 

I think it starts from something very simple.

There was a time when clothes were made to last for years — really years.

If I look into my wardrobe today, I still have pieces from my mother, even from my grandmother. I wear them now, and they still feel new.

And that says a lot.

 

What made those pieces different?

 

The materials, first of all.

Back then, garments were made from natural fibers — cotton, linen, silk, wool.

These are materials that are not only durable, but also safe for the people wearing them. And I think that’s something we don’t talk about enough today.

Because what you wear is in contact with your skin all day. It matters.

 

And today? What has changed?

 

Today, that’s no longer the standard.

We’ve become used to something completely different. Buying clothes that are not made to last, but to be replaced.

Fast fashion has become the norm. And in many ways, it’s closer to plastic than to actual fabric.

 

Do you think people are aware of that shift?

 

I think, deep down, yes.

But at the same time, we don’t always stop and question it.

How can a t-shirt, a dress, or a sweater cost 10 euros?

At some point, you have to ask yourself what’s behind that price.

And often, the answer is not a comfortable one.

 

What do you mean by that?

 

Very often, it’s a combination of things.

Underpaid workers. Low-quality materials. And a production system that prioritizes speed over everything else.

And of course, there’s also the environmental impact, which is impossible to ignore.

All of these things are connected.

 

So where does Corsa Undici position itself within this context?

 

Corsa Undici was created to bring back a different idea of what clothing can be.

To make quality feel normal again. To make durability something expected, not exceptional.

To return to a way of creating that feels more honest.

 

Your pieces are positioned differently in terms of price. How do you address that?

 

It’s true — our pieces cost more than what you might find elsewhere.

But what you’re investing in is not just the product itself.

It’s the quality of the materials. The way the piece is made. The fact that it’s designed to stay in your wardrobe over time. And also, something that is often overlooked — your own well-being.

Because wearing cotton is not the same as wearing polyester.

And once you start paying attention to that difference, it changes the way you experience what you wear.

 

 

There’s a quiet clarity in that perspective.

No urgency, no excess — just a return to something more essential.

A reminder that clothing was never meant to be disposable.
