You’ve always had a strong connection with fashion. When did it start?

 

People who know me are aware of it — fashion has always been a fundamental part of my life. It was never just something I liked. It was something that belonged to me, something that shaped my childhood and the way I grew up.

It was a language, even before it became a choice.

 

Do you remember a specific moment that represents that passion?

 

Absolutely.

When I was younger, I never missed a single fashion week. It was a fixed appointment, every season. It didn’t matter where I was or what I was doing — I would be there, in front of a screen, watching every detail.

It was more than an interest. It was a ritual.

 

There’s a story you mentioned that says a lot about your relationship with fashion…

 

Yes, it’s one of those moments that, looking back, still makes me smile.

A few years ago — three, maybe four — I was at home, sitting at the kitchen table, watching a Spring/Summer fashion week show. If I remember correctly, it was Milan.

At first, I thought it was someone downstairs using a drill.

Then the movement became stronger. Too strong. Too real.

And that’s when I realized.

It might be an earthquake.

 

What did you do in that moment?

 

I did what anyone would do… more or less.

I grabbed my computer. I grabbed my phone. And I ran under the table.

But I didn’t stop watching.

While everything was shaking, I was still there, under the table, looking at the screen, thinking:

“mm, this linen dress is gorgeous.” (giggles)

 

That says a lot about you.

 

Yes, I think it does.

Just to give you an idea of the level of determination — not even an earthquake could separate me from fashion week.

 

 

There’s something almost poetic in that image — the contrast between chaos and focus, between uncertainty and clarity.

Today it has evolved, but in a way it’s still the same.

It has become more conscious, more intentional.

But at its core, there’s still that same curiosity, that same way of observing.

The difference is — now I don’t just watch.
